Nabil Khemir is a well-known Tunisian guitarist/lutist, singer and composer who created his own unique double-neck instrument that combines the guitar and the electrical oud and which he called the “Rayjam”.

His unique instrument allows him to explore and share his musical joy while having an electrical oud and guitar at hand simultaneously.
Performances: Nabil played at renown international festivals in The Netherlands, USA, French, Libanon, Egypt, South-Africa, Carthage, Tabarka, Hammamet and Italy. He also played among others with Melodie Gardot, Joachim Kuhn and drummer Chander Sjardoe.

Awards

Furthermore, Nabil took part at the American Music Contest for creation and improvisation in 2007. Among 2000 international participants from all over the world, his composition “Parfumd’orient et d’occident” was selected for the honor prize.
In 2008 Nabil was decorated for his musical and cultural contributionin Tunisia.

Nabil Khemir receives the Mediterranean Tourism GREAT SEA Awards 2019 and sings in front of the President of the Republic of Malta accompanied by Mediterranean Orchestra and the great conductor Maestro Bruno Santori.Band &

Workshops:

Nabil Khemir gives guitar and oud workshops and teaches how to combine both scales and styles of two very different kinds of music. Nabil performs in trio, quartet or quintet or as a host in other groups at festivals and various events.
Musicstyle: The shows he offers mainly vary from jazz, to funk as well as oriental music or a selection of world pop songs.
